Super Bowl Sunday + #AirfryerFriday

Updated: Feb 6, 2020

Happy Friday! Today we thought we'd share a few Super Bowl Sunday recipes using our brand new AIR FRYER!!! After a couple uses, we are both already super excited to share some simple and fast recipes for everyone's busy schedules but specifically this week, we're focusing on Sunday's big game!

Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

3 lb. chicken wings (we used frozen)

1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

3 T. melted butter

1 T. minced garlic

1 T. Herb de Provence

1 T. Paprika

1 t. Salt (you can also use garlic salt if you're a garlic lover like us)

1 t. Pepper (salt + pepper to taste preference)

Spray air fryer tray with non-stick spray (we used avocado oil spray). Melt butter and mix with minced garlic. Mix dry ingredients.

Dip wing pieces in melted butter mix and then into the dry mix.

Place directly into air fryer tray to make one layer coverage with a little space between pieces.

Air fry on 360º F (or chicken setting) for 20 minutes. Instructions for the fryer said you don't have to, but we flipped them with a pair of tongs to ensure they were evenly fried.

We also tried reheating our initially prepared wings the next day + they turned out equally amazing! You can snag the #naturallycreative recipe card for this recipe at the bottom of this post.

Crispy Air Fried Pickles

2 Eggs

2 c. Sliced pickles

1 c. Flour (we used GF all-purpose flour)

1 t. Salt

2 c. breadcrumbs (we didn't have any so we mashed Sweet Potato Sun Chips but next time I'd get GF breadcrumbs)

1 c. buttermilk (we also didn't have this on hand so we used regular lactose-free milk)

**prep: place sliced pickles in a bowl + pour milk over them. Let soak 2-3 hours.

Scramble eggs in a bowl. In separate bowls, place flour in one and breadcrumbs in another. Add salt to breadcrumb mixture. Pull pickles from milk bowl and individually dip them into the flour, then into the mixed eggs, and lastly into the breadcrumb mixture

Place the pickles in a single layer into the air fryer tray. Cook on the veggie setting or 400º F for 6 minutes.

We served both of these with ranch and our family loved the treat while we loved the quick dinner solution and easy clean up!!

We hope you have an amazing weekend, whether you watch the Super Bowl or not and take advantage of these wonderful, simple, fast and easy air fryer recipes!
